Project Thrifty| Wal-Mart's Mother's Day Look

I HAD A MUCH NEEDED PRE MOTHER'S DAY CELEBRATORY DAY OUT!! GOOD FOOD, GOOD FRIEND AND GOOD DRINKS AND I LOOKED GOOD DOING UNDER $40.

So after wrapping up another taping of Drinks and Discussions my cohost and I decided to paint the town red in for this much needed outing. In actuality we already had this in mind so I was forbidding the process of trying to figure out what I was wearing.

Fortunately enough, while I was out getting a few items from my local Wal-Mart, I saw a dress that I just couldn't take my eye off and I knew I just had to have it. Then I got the bright idea to see if I could manage putting a entire ensemble together from Wal-Mart.

It wasn't much of a challenge but that maybe because I lucked up on some really cute finds with just a little roaming and looking. This cute multi-stripped sundress just set the tone and it was around $20. Yes, that maybe a little pricey for Wal-Mart but compared to Target, it's still reasonable.

So I paired the dress with some cute mustard ruffled slides that were around $9. I found a clear clutch with so much character and I had to pair with dress. The clutch was around $8 and it's very big and roomy, I can definitely find something else to pair the bag with.

I added a chain necklace for an accessory and put on my cute button earrings to pull it all together. And there you have a full Wal-Mart look!!
